Eldon Bottcher Architect Pty Ltd

Eldon Bottcher Architect Pty Ltd (EBA) is a Corporate member of the Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) and engages a Bushfire Planning and Design(BPAD) Accredited Practitioner under the FPA Australia BPAD Scheme.

We provide Bushfire Design across Queensland, to developers both large and small. Our clients include Devine, Dixon, Peet, ADF, Project Services and many others.

Our primary aim is to ensure that Queenslanders can live in places where they have received the best advice and assistance possible in mitigating the effects of bushfire, with that advice provided in a “Best practice“ manner, fully compliant with legal requirements, and in the most economical and expedient way.

Practice principal, Eldon Bottcher says;

“Whilst my primary profession was being an Architect, I have done further study, and practice as a Bushfire Planning and Design Practitioner, one of perhaps only three qualified and accredited in Queensland. Combined with my hobby as a Volunteer Rural Fire Fighter, where I have held the highest ranks and positions available to a volunteer in Queensland, the skill sets are quite unique, and due to this I have been requested to provide CPD talks to both Australian Institute of Architects and Australian Institute of Building Surveyors, as well as lecturing and tutoring Architectural, Interior Design, Industrial Design and Landscape Architecture students at QUIT. “
